Aimee Yasin, LPC-MHSP: Co-Founder and Lead Counselor

Too often life is full of turning points- times when you have to start over or make a big decision, whether by choice or circumstance. Change is hard, whether it’s expected or not. Support and empowerment are both keys to not only surviving but also using these experiences to make you stronger. With these keys, the turning points in life can be maneuvered successfully.

I am certified by the state of Tennessee as a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service provider designation, which means I’m qualified to work with a wide scope of issues. I have over ten years of experience in various mental health settings. I’ve worked at residential treatment facilities, home-based services, community mental health agencies, and crisis services. My experience includes children, teenagers, and adults, ages 6-55. I have experience providing individual, family, and couples counseling. I have supported goals ranging from stress management and anxiety reduction to trauma processing and crisis de-escalation. My passion is supporting others as they work through challenging experiences and exploring new tools to be successful.

The goal of Crossroads Counseling Services is to help you find your direction. Whether that means getting back on your original path or discovering a new one. Your journey is unique and special. I would be honored to be a part of it.

Jennifer Sharpe, Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

I look for solutions. Sometimes the solution is a listening ear and processing difficult emotions or experiences. I also look for very practical solutions for couples such as communication techniques, division of household/work/and parenting tasks, and the big issues in relationships…money, sex, and in-laws or ex’s. With individuals suffering with depression or anxiety, I take a two-fold approach, mind, and body. Without simple changes in our bodies, such as relaxation, exercise, and sleep, our minds cannot connect. When we take care of both the mind and body, there is a synergistic effect, and the results are much greater.

I use Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducation. I enjoy working with couples, kids, and individuals.

I encourage you to make the call today, to start caring for yourself so you can continue caring for your loved ones. This is a place to find kindness, unconditional acceptance, and solutions. You will also find some tough love, boundaries, and even laughter. If we can’t get you out of it, together we can get you through it.

Kimberly Diane Stewart, Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, CSW

I pride myself in my authenticity and direct approach to therapy. I have a passion for working with adult individuals and couples alike. I feel therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all,” but instead, I like to use a patchwork approach and tailor therapy to each client’s specific needs and desires. I meet you where you are at and want to support you in where you choose you want to grow and change. I feel therapy is a tool to help us gain knowledge and insight so we can reach our full potentials.

I have experience working with depression, grief, infidelity, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and trauma. I have worked with a great deal of military service members and their families on a variety of issues unique to the military culture and lifestyle. I am also very passionate about working with couples to help strengthen those bonds.

Life is hard sometimes, and I can empathize with needing a little help. I understand the specific struggles of maintaining a marriage or dealing with life stressors that can be overwhelming when we are going through it. As a therapist, I desire to be accepting and encouraging. If you are ready to make those changes, I would be honored to help.

Shelia Carter, Master Level Clinician, MS

Life is a journey! Every journey is a story with many chapters. Your story is unique, as it is yours. If chapters of your story have been painful, and you are ready to close those chapters, I am here to help. You don’t have to be held back by the past that made those painful chapters. Now is the time to close those chapters, write new ones and finish the rest of your story. I will respect your story because you are the expert of your life. It’s time to live your life to the fullest!

My approach to counseling is person-centered. I have experience with a broad range of issues, including post-abortive women and couples. I will use tools and techniques from cognitive-behavioral theory, narrative theory, and emotionally focused individual/couple theory. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, knowing your story is as unique as you!

My passion is to help hurting people find peace with difficult life issues. I am ready to walk through those issues with you. I will attentively listen to your story with the goal to help you understand your story and how it impacts your life. I will provide a non-judgmental atmosphere where you will feel safe and accepted.

Kristi Quattrochi, Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW

I do both in-person and telehealth appointments. I have evening openings and weekend flexibility. I have experience working with a variety of ages, but my passion involves working with children and adolescents. My areas of experience include trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, RAD, Autism, and SPMI’s among others. I have worked as a Crisis Therapist as well as providing ongoing counseling in an office and intensive in-home setting. Recognizing a need for help and reaching out is the first step toward positive changes and a healthier you. My goal is to help people to reach an improved level of mental health and well being.

Self-Care is important as it is impossible to be an effective caregiver to others if you are not taking care of yourself. I utilize a strengths-based approach, meeting people where they are in their journey and working toward a common goal. At times, life can become overwhelming and confusing at any stage of life.

Individuals have differing abilities managing the circumstances faced during times of crisis or in times of calm. It is my goal to guide individuals to gain and grow the tools to navigate the world today.
